  1. Secure Pop out input form

    So like GoDaddys live chat... An agent can make a form appear in chat with an input to take a customer support pin securely without the pin being in the chat itself.

    I think this would be quite a powerful addition to Tawk.

  4. Trigger condition : chat window opened / agent msg already sent

    This very simple trigger (I've given it two names but its the same idea) is to detect if a msg box has already opened or not in the users session.

    I have various triggers setup in an account that work on specific page urls in my site and I don't want to over do it with too many msgs from triggers if the user is quite active and reads too many of these pages.

    So it's that simple, the idea of the trigger is to stop too many prompts being sent. The condition checks if there has been any activity…

    Please add two more fields inside Visitor Name and E-mail fields for Customer's Company Name and for Customer numbers.

  7. Historical logs

    It would be extremely beneficial to see which visitors where on the site and when. The more analytics that can be recorded and saved, the more useful this chat membership will be. I get very few chat requests and am considering cancelling. If that feature were added, I would keep for the analytics. Yes, I do know that google analytics can help look at activity...but would be great to simply have in one place.

  9. Have on mobile pop up with a trigger-message

    when the trigger start, the trigger sentence have to pop up with a little screen just for the size of one sentence,, the visitor have to see it imidiatly and not just the little nomber "1" at the head of the icon
    In all chats services uts work that way

    Hi!
    On mobile we can’t change this behaviour at this time.
    Since the chat is full-screen, it would be bad user experience to interrupt visitor from viewing your website.
    On PC browser trigger will open a chat to show trigger message to a visitor.

    Thank you for request.

    Visitors IP is a sensitive personal data, so they won’t be included into reports.

    In future we plan to create advanced chats export. Also you will be able filter not by IP, but by visitors ID which we give to visitor and until we can recognize him the same ID will be put.

    It would also be great to be able to do it by approximate location, so if someone in our geographic area is browsing we know they might be able to pick up items on our website etc.

    It could make a noise alerting that a "tagged" user has come to the site to browse.

    Zopim has this feature, we used to use it quite successfully and it was very helpful.

    Hi, thank you for request.
    At the moment you can set Advanced Trigger, with condition to check visitor IP address and perform required actions, like sending him message, setting name to him to identify in visitors list in Monitoring.

    Please note that if you use Pre-chat form, trigger will overrride it. We are working on new design and logic for a widget and they will be available to be used together.

  13. embed ticket system on a website

    I would love to integrate on my website an embeded code for the ticket system, so my visitors could send a ticket to me besides having the chat option. Also a login that i would create for some visitors, so they could login and follow the ticket they've sent would be a great plus.

    Many visitors feedback, why can't I see my last chat history? Please improve the software to lock the visitor IP, visitors can see the last chat record when they open the software for the second time.

    Hi, thank you for the request, it’s is in our plan to create “never-ending” chat, so on visitor return it would open the same chat with all previous messages.

  16. It should be possible to edit urls in the messages

    It would be easier if we could edit the urls on tawk.to so our customers wouldn't get bombed with extra long messages if the message contains 10 different urls.

  17. Extend the JavaScript API to allow filling the question field in the pre-chat form on maximizing

    The question field in the pre-chat form cannot be targeted with getElementById().

    Overload the Tawk_API.maximize() method with Tawk_API.maximize(question) to allow the question field to be filled dynamically. This allows the use of links within the website to maximize the chat widget and fill the initial message (while still allowing the user to customize/extend the message before starting a chat).

  18. Browser plugin for notifications & quick access

    Hi team,

    As of now in order to get live notifications about the new visitors, we need to either log in to the dashboard or have the app installed.

    It's not always possible to have either of them (some companies won't allow phones at the workplace, some may have trouble working with multiple browser tabs due to performance issues). I belong to the second category, not always possible to keep Tawk dashboard tab open on my browser.

    We recently solved a similar problem for our SaaS app by publishing a browser plugin, which will notify the customer about the events…
