      Many visitors feedback, why can't I see my last chat history? Please improve the software to lock the visitor IP, visitors can see the last chat record when they open the software for the second time.

        Hi, thank you for the request, it’s is in our plan to create “never-ending” chat, so on visitor return it would open the same chat with all previous messages.

      • Turn chat online/offline manually despite other agents status and Scheduler hours

        My boss is often in the office later the rest of us and would like to be able to answer chats past our "closing time" which I previously used the scheduler to turn offline at. I understand that if all users are logged out, the widget will turn offline, however many of my colleagues leave their browsers open overnight for convenience from day to day and forget to log out. It would be very helpful if there were an option for Chat Admins to change the online/offline status of the widget manually.

          Hey,

          on mobile-version you dont have the chat-button completly on the right-bottom corner. On desktop-version it works fine. On mobile it looks like this: https://gyazo.com/ff32abf2989bd6732fa8e34c71459985

          • Browser plugin for notifications & quick access

            Hi team,

            As of now in order to get live notifications about the new visitors, we need to either log in to the dashboard or have the app installed.

            It's not always possible to have either of them (some companies won't allow phones at the workplace, some may have trouble working with multiple browser tabs due to performance issues). I belong to the second category, not always possible to keep Tawk dashboard tab open on my browser.

            We recently solved a similar problem for our SaaS app by publishing a browser plugin, which will notify the customer about the events…

                  Requesting that image URLs are parsed into previews for both customer chats and chats between agents.

                      It would be a great thing if you added the idea for hiding the country of the visitor from the agent but keep it shown for the admin. This would help in keeping the visitor's privacy safe.

                        Please work on this, there should be an option in back-end to change validation rule for example if user want minimum 10 digit no in chat form then they have the option to change it.

                            • Add REST api for creating and managing tickets

                              Add a REST api for creating and managing (close, change status etc) tickets. This would allow people to use Tawk as a full on ticketing system and make it a great product.

                              • Download Directly from the chat window without open files in new window

                                in normal case now all files open in new window, and after that you can download it!!!
                                It is so slowly way and wasting more time because the customer asking about specific things and you answer him immediate by sending file this means the customer know about the file contain and need to download it directly.
                                Please Just add (OPEN) option, and activate (Download) to be real download action, not Open action

                                  Previously it was downloading by default. Recently it was changed to open in browser.

                                  Now to download the file you need to click right mouse button on the file name and choose “Save As”.

                                • Ability to add a gallery of pic

                                  My request is to have a feature where we can add a gallery of folder of many pic for the widget and to have an interval in min to change between the pics . Lets say we have 10 pics in the folder or gallery and when we choose that gallery system will round robin between pic each x set min.

                                    The widget sits on the right or left bottom of the website and kinda hidden...yes you could use triggers but its best to get the widget to pop in flying somewhere in the middle right/left of the page just to get the attention...

                                    I think some people cannot see the chat window as its not clearly visible....

                                        We are using or chatting for a real estate company, We need to make some changes to the Tawk.io chat we need to fix it so it works as follows:

                                        1) Run roulette / escalate by attendants or departments ie as soon as a visitor enters the chat the notification appears to the first attendant who is free and so on the scale.

                                        2) that the service is limited to 1 per agent (once a broker accepts a new chat he can not catch another if he does not close the current one)

                                        3) the administrator can create the departments…

                                          It would be great if there's a feature that allows the admins to change agents' "Agent Aliases" and "Position Titles" so that the customers know if there's for expample an "Admin" or a Support with level 1.
