  1. The visitor can see the last chat record

    Many visitors feedback, why can't I see my last chat history? Please improve the software to lock the visitor IP, visitors can see the last chat record when they open the software for the second time.

      Hi, thank you for the request, it’s is in our plan to create “never-ending” chat, so on visitor return it would open the same chat with all previous messages.

    • Have on mobile pop up with a message

      when the trigger start, the trigger sentence have to pop up with a little screen just for the size of one sentence,, the visitor have to see it imidiatly and not just the little nomber "1" at the head of the icon
      In all chats services uts work that way

        Hi!
        On mobile we can’t change this behaviour at this time.
        Since the chat is full-screen, it would be bad user experience to interrupt visitor from viewing your website.
        On PC browser trigger will open a chat to show trigger message to a visitor.

      • IP tracking and recognition

        I would love to see automatically saved IP addresses in a rapport. Some B2B visitors have an IP-address bounded to there company.

        With that information, we have more potential leads. Now I need to manually save the IP-address and company name. When there is a monthly rapport of visitors and there IP-addresses I would be even more happy with tawk.io!

        I hope this will be available in the future.

          Since a separate asset could be created to handle localization (multi-language support) shouldn’t the triggers be under the assets instead of global settings?

                • The ability to search for key words within internal groups, agent chats

                  In the internal messaging group created, we want to be able to see all content without having to scroll to have the rest of the content load, this be able to scan for key words within the group content to eliminate the need to use alternative websites for this like SLACK.COM

                    Actually, welcome message can only be edited, but what if you have to deal to other languages users? There would be the possibility to edit welcome message text for multiple languages, like one for English, a different one for Italian, another one for French, etc...

                      At the moment you can make advanced trigger with condition to check URL of the page (website.com/en. website.com/fr, etc).

                      Also you can put widget for each language – create multiple assets (widgets), assign for each language page.

                          Automatically route chat session based on visitor location. In our scenario we have a sales team consisting of 6 employees each covering a certain territory of US States. It would be nice if a trigger could be created that will route the chat session to the appropriate agent (sales employee) based on the visitor's location. There are already conditions based on IP, hostname, city, or country, but region would be great too. Also, there's no feature as far as I know for auto routing.

                              It would be great if the background colour of the chat widget itself could be customised from the default white to any colour.
                              I have a black, blue and yellow colour scheme. The yellow user message box doesn’t look very good against the white background, the blue agent message box does but both message box types would look good on a black widget background.
                              I’m surprised this hasn’t already been added as there’s customisation options for everything else.

                                It would be awesome to be able to setup triggers for when live chat is not available, and the offline form is active.

                                I'd like to be able to setup *at the least* one site wide trigger after X seconds.

                                Otherwise it would be great to have the ability for triggers based on the url, so we can make the message fit for purpose :)

                                  It would be cool if you could activate a trigger with the Javascript API.

                                  For example, I want to add a "chat with us" botton on my website. Currently I can only make it open the chat. Wouldn't it be cool if you could also make a bot type in a message after the chat opens?

                                      We have a lot of people in our company that use the website while building new features. I see all of these on the monitoring board which is noise when I want to see the real visitors.

                                      I'd like to filter them out.

                                      I'd suggest to filter them out either
                                      - by using the IP address (which is proably the easiest)
                                      or
                                      - by name (everyone needs to enter a name and then I add them to a group 'own people' and then they are filtered out)

                                        Currently the only way is to ban by IP, but in this case the widget won’t appear for that user as well.
                                        To ban by IP, please go to Admin – Ban List – click Ban IP button.

                                      • Add a public facing knowledge base

                                        It would be great to integrate a public knowledge base like the one you guys have: https://www.tawk.to/knowledgebase/ So that customers can search for their own answrs first or when chat is offline. This will minimize the amount of chatting and ticket submissions for simple questions.

                                        Hosting that on a white label space like support.yourdomain.com via CNAME records would be best so that the user never feels like they've left your site.

                                        Custom headers/footers and navigation would help with the experience.

                                          It would be nice if you add an ability to pre-fill pre chat form via both direct URL and JS widget.

                                          Example, pre chat form has fields:
                                          1) Department
                                          2) Customer name
                                          3) Customer ID in CRM

                                          When using direct URL to start chat, we should be able to pass values for any of fields in the URL. The same is when we use JS widget.
