To make changes to Tawk.to App stuff you have to access the Iframes document object model.
Its not too hard but for convience it would be nice if each iframe had a static ID or Class.
Atm everytime you refresh the page the id's refresh to a new unique one.

Sadly, the use of tawk.to within the the EU is not really legal, due to privacy and data protection concerns.
Lawyers and business advocates are telling us, we should stop using tawk - if we come across the wrong customer we could end up in legal trouble.

My suggestion is the dark theme for the main panel, large companies like YouTube (Google), Twitter or Twitch accept this theme!
This color is great because it does not force your eyesight.

The current time scheduler options of 15 minutes only are very restricting. For example I have someone working til 6pm but the only options are to go off at 5.45pm or 6pm when really I need it to be 5.55pm.21 votes
If you add this fields in the email template sent to the admin email, it will be possible to sinc the transcripts with any people profile in any other tool.
Zapier Email Parser is capable of scraping an email, find relevant information (email and name) and later integrate with any tool.27 votes
Hire a designer to work on your chat widget!
You've got so many things right but your overall look is really average maybe even below average. If you added the new designs as options to your custom brand add on, I'm 99% sure you will see a huge increase in monthly revenue !!!
Just a thought.....

It’s possible that there is mobile session from tawk.to android or ios app, which keeps chat Online. To chat become Offline the mobile app need to be in “Invisible” status or logged out. Also you can check session in Profile – Browser & App Sessions and clear all or unneeded ones.
Now once the user select the department in the pre form, that information is saved in the browser session and never is deleted. So the user always remains chatting in the same department.
The idea is when the chat ends the user should be able to select again the department.17 votes

Some time user want to talk another Department. But when user start chat again automatically chat start with previews selected Department.
Ex. User chat with "Billing Department" then when end chat user want to start chat with "Technical Department" but utomatically chat start with "Billing Department"9 votes

Should I want to give the Client the option to select the Agent I have to create a Department for each Agent.

I would like to be able to change the automated response e-mail for the ticketing system.
We have a Dutch website and now our clients recieve an e-mail in English:
"Your message has been received and is currently being reviewed by our team.
For your reference, this ticket id is #33."
So I would suggest to make this dynamic so that we can change the e-mails that our clients get.3 votes
turn off team notifications when a chat is already being served, as the whole team is getting a notification with each sentence.
We have a large sales team running the tawkto windows app.
The desktop notifications are useful to see when a new chat comes in, however they also mean that every sentence a customer types in creates a new notification on everyone's computer, not just the one in active chat.
This does seem a little silly; I have asked support for a solution to this and been directed here.
We would really like a fix for this please.3 votes
Intercom has this and it can really improve the chat. Takes things from boring normal chat to personal and funny very quickly.
