  1. Pre-chat form should not hide trigger messages

    This applies to sites where the pre-chat form is enabled as well as triggers

    Once the trigger fires the message should be visible to the user no matter what. Once the user views the message and tries to respond it should then show the pre-chat form.

    Trigger messages should NOT be hidden behind pre-chat forms. This is awful UX. To see the message the user would need to complete the pre-chat form and many users will not do this just to see if the message is something they want to reply to.

        Thank you for the suggestion.

        It will be like going back – against popular request to have Pre-chat form to stay after a trigger message.

        But we will have your idea open, so we could see if it will be requested feature. To implement option to choose how Pre-chat form should behave – be always shown or be skipped.

          I would like to be able to reduce widget icon size and position in pixel. Because on mobile I feel like there is too much space between widget and the edge of the screen also the icon is a little bit too big.

            • Resize visitors input fields in Widget, make taller than one line

              Most retail/novice customers "freak out" when they are typing and the text disappears. Consequently, when typing a long sentence in your chat, they would think that the field is limited in length or overwritten since they only see the last line of text. A self-expanding box or a default account setting would allow for more control of the size of the entry box of the chat before the message is sent.

                  My business requires customers to upload videos and I would like them to upload it over chat but as videos are too big, it has to be uploaded via a reply to a ticket. Please implement this idea.

                      I can see a situation where someone can get around having to take live chats by logging in (so they appear online) but dont take chats because they have switched off accept chats from.

                      Being able to set "Required" accept chats from as an admin would be beneficial

                      • Support Ticket Status | Add Ability For Custom Options OR at least a NEEDS MORE INFO status

                        As a support ticketing system the open pending closed statuses are very limited and not all that useful to a support team. The ability to add in addition or custom ticket status options would be wonderful, but even if that cannot be done - perhaps adding in ticket status options which are found in most HEAT/Ticketing systems like "NEED MORE INFO," "AWAITING REPLY," etc. would help to filter out where tickets are actually sitting.

                          It would be nice to allow for the customization of the message that appears at the end of the chat

                          "Thank you for chatting with us. Feel free to start a new chat session or enter your email and send a transcript of this conversation to your inbox."

                          I have chosen my language in the widget settings, but this string will always be English, because it cannot be customized.

                          This also includes email messages, when the visitor receives a mail message from your system, regardless of the language set for the widget.

                              The Idle means that visitor is inactive – widget stopped waiting for his activity. This status sets in around 20 minutes.

                                  From there you can create tickets to communicate with them, but at least at the moment directly with each person, not like mass emailing.

                                      If you have our “Video+Voice+Screensharing” paid add-on, then there is a Call button in the widget header.

                                      If you use other calling-service and want to have only it, then seems your developer should just make a button or a window to access this service.

                                      If you want an integration of tawk.to with other call-service – don’t know if it will happen, but in that case would be better to rename your request to something like “Integration with `Name-of-call-service-you-use’”, so people could find it and upvote the suggestion.
                                      If it is what you want, I can rename your request.

                                      Please make it possible to use Fonts from a local server. Using google fonts is not ok under GDPR afaik.

                                        We use Tawk and several other tools using sound notifications. We also use headsets for our softphones, connected to our computers.
                                        The incoming messages sound notifications are directed to the default sound device (our headsets). This is a problem because the team as a whole is not notified, and a person in a call can get the sound notification.

                                        It would be great if we could choose a specific output for sound notifications.

                                          I recently noticed that every time I receive (as a user) an email from the ticket forwarding email, it goes to spam. Probably because it's name is composed by random numbers and letters.

                                          Adding the ability to change only the address's name; for example, instead of using “gc7c16a2f3d912e85u39242cd6o50d3@tickets.parrot.to", use "chosenName@tickets.parrot.to”, might avoid every email received going to spam and the Parrot brand would still be present in the address (and at the email message bottom).

                                          For some reason my suggestion was getting deleted when typing the brand’s name, so I wrote Parrot instead.
