  1. Ability to turn off dynamic title

    On new message, the tab title will now change to "NUM new message". It would be nice to have an option to disable it.

  2. Triggers with input fields, instead of pre-chat form

    We noticed a large drop in chat requests after activating the prechat form but of course we'd still like to have the opportunity to respond to the contact if we miss them. It would be great if the option to load a from could be added to the triggers. For example, something exactly like the prechat form but it opens after a time limit when no one responds. It would of course need a customizable message as well, something like "Sorry no one is available right now. Please provide your name and either phone number or email address and we…

    Thank you for the suggestion!

    Pre-chat form like we have now won’t be good since will cover the chat – so that request title can be kinda misleading when it will be searched by other users, reviewed by us in future.

    We have a request to make “Chat rescuer” trigger with input fields:

    But I can’t merge your request into it, since I presume you want any trigger to have input fieds – maybe we can rename your request to sound like “Triggers with input fields” / “Triggers like pre-chat form” or other how you would like it to be.

    We had plans on changing current pre-chat into form of conversation with a bot – in chat bot asks for example visitors name and visitor can type it like he would type a message. But, unfortunately, difficult to say when we can start on implementing such functionality.

  3. Mobile widget icon size and position

    I would like to be able to reduce widget icon size and position in pixel. Because on mobile I feel like there is too much space between widget and the edge of the screen also the icon is a little bit too big.

    How can i be informed when a human has started a conversation?
    I'm trying to use the OnChatStarted event, has your documentation shows, but nothing is happening.

  6. Enable Widget Bubbles on mobile responsive or triggers ability to open chat box on mobile responsve

    Currently most website visitors come through mobile responsive. Now widget bubbles are not supported on mobile responsive and triggers do not open the chat box automatically on responsive. It is not possible to attract visitors attention to the existence of the chat capabilities. It will be good it if is possible either to add a bubble to the widget to inform visitors of the chat capaiblity or to allow the triggers to open the chat box and display a message to visitors on repsonsive.

  8. One trigger can cancel following triggers.

    Let's say you want to have a general welcome message across the site that it is triggered after 1 minute. But then in some specific page, i.e. The Shipping & Returns page or the Shopping cart you want to send a more specific message, letting the users know that you are there to help them with their order after 30 secs.

    Right now the user would receive the specific message at 30 secs and them the welcome message after 30 more seconds. I don't think it looks nice. Right now I am forced to create a second property and assign…

    In Dutch the standard message is now written in an formal way, but we communicate in a formal way on out website. This doesn't match :(

  11. Make triggers fire on a piece of content found in page html/dom

    We need certain existing pages in our website to trigger tawk prompts. If we changed the urls of all these particular pages we could do this but its just not an option due to quantity and SEO concerns.

    If we could set something in the page html (which we could easily do via our backend for these particular pages) and then have Tawk see that and trigger on its presence this would resolve the issue!

  13. Must Be Fixed- For Mobile Users, My website mobile users now hate it.

    In new update it becomes worst for mobile users ,Now users have to touch on that send icon to send messages instead of pressing enter/send key on their mobile keyboard which is very convenient for them and make them feel like they are chatting with friends .
    Now they get annoy while explaining their problems by continuously pressing that send icon button again and again . Please make it like before its my huge request and also make it more mobile friendly .

    When we initiate a chat the message box pops up above the widget. However we have no control over how that box looks.

  17. Option to change how chat widget looks for mobile and desktop

    An option to differentiate how the chat widget will look on desktop and widget. Would be great if we can also dictate how triggers work for mobile and desktop too. Right now on desktop, having the chat pop up after X seconds is fine, but on mobile it's a huge annoyance as customers can't browse our store without being blocked by chat at least once.

    Please make it possible to use Fonts from a local server. Using google fonts is not ok under GDPR afaik.

    Based on this https://tawk.uservoice.com/forums/228427-feedback/suggestions/9229221-pre-chat-form-after-trigger there are many people such as myself who want the vice versa feature, If there is any triggered message then, the pre-chat appears naturally as if it were a conversation balloon

    Thank you for the suggestion.

    It will be like going back – against popular request to have Pre-chat form to stay after a trigger message.

    But we will have your idea open, so we could see if it will be requested feature. To implement option to choose how Pre-chat form should behave – be always shown or be skipped.
